Red Crayon has recently been working on designing and developing a website for Ignition, a program run by Mission Australia, educating teenagers and young adults with learning difficulties to give them the skills to pass their learners permit test. The website is aimed at Australian youths with low literacy and numeracy levels or those from a culturally diverse background.
Red Crayon first developed creative concepts for the website, considering the target audience and the necessity to create a simple, user friendly interface that can be easily understood by those with lower literacy and numeracy skills. Red Crayon's design has bright, bold colours and an interactive layout that gives users the choice to both listen to and read the instructions.
Based off a DVD that had previously been developed by Ignition, Red Crayon's website is flexible, giving users the opportunity to practice the learner permit tests in the privacy of their own home and at their own pace, ensuring that individuals are given best opportunity to practice for and obtain their Victorian Learners permit.
